肖显盛于 1961 年 9 月出生在湖北省巴东县野三关镇的一个小山村,彼时正值中国三年自然灾害,生存环境恶劣,他在艰难中顽强成长。少年时期,肖显盛凭借对知识的执着追求和刻苦学习的精神,于 1979 年成功考入中专 —— 恩施财校巴东分校,就此告别农村生活,开启人生新篇。

Xiao Xiansheng was born in September 1961 in a small mountain village in Yesanguan Town, Badong County, Hubei Province. At that time, it was three years of natural disasters in China, and the living environment was harsh. He grew up tenaciously in the face of difficulties. In his youth, Xiao Xiansheng, with his persistent pursuit of knowledge and diligent learning spirit, successfully entered the vocational school – Enshi Finance School Badong Branch in 1979, bidding farewell to rural life and embarking on a new chapter in his life.

1981 年中专毕业后,肖显盛被分配至巴东县商业局下属的食品公司杨柳池食品所,从事出纳统计工作。1984 年 12 月,他调入巴东县国营野三关贸易公司,此后的十几年间,历任会计、主管会计以及办公室主任,每日与各类财务数据打交道。然而,随着单位效益逐渐下滑,他毅然决然地做出下岗的决定,这一决定在当时出乎很多人的意料。

After graduating from vocational school in 1981, Xiao Xiansheng was assigned to Yangliuchi Food Co., Ltd., a food company under the Badong County Commercial Bureau, to work as a cashier and statistician. In December 1984, he was transferred to the state-owned Yesanguan Trading Company in Badong County. Over the next decade, he served as an accountant, chief accountant, and office director, dealing with various financial data on a daily basis. However, as the unit’s efficiency gradually declined, he made the resolute decision to be laid off, which surprised many people at the time.

2001 年,下岗后的肖显盛面临着一无技术、二无资金的困境,但他并未因此而气馁,而是积极探索未来的发展方向。为了维持生计,他先后在巴东县野三关镇开设小商铺,经营小百货、副食商品,同时代销柴油,并设立柴油加油点。这些早期的尝试,为他积累了宝贵的商业经验和资金基础。

2003 年 3 月,肖显盛响应改革开放的号召,经有关部门批准,在野三关镇青龙桥社区五组兴建柴油加油点,开始零售柴油。这成为他事业的关键转折点,也标志着他正式踏入成品油经营领域。此后,他不断努力进取,于 2006 年 6 月将加油点成功升级为加油站,业务范围扩展至经营汽油、柴油。自此,他与石油行业结下了不解之缘。

In 2001, after being laid off, Xiao Xiansheng faced the dilemma of having no technology and no funds, but he did not give up and actively explored future development directions. In order to make a living, he successively opened small shops in Yesanguan Town, Badong County, operating small department stores and non-staple food products, while also selling diesel and setting up diesel refueling points. These early attempts have accumulated valuable business experience and financial foundation for him.

In March 2003, Xiao Xiansheng responded to the call for reform and opening up and, with the approval of relevant departments, built a diesel refueling point in Group 5 of Qinglongqiao Community, Yesanguan Town, and began retailing diesel. This became a crucial turning point in his career and also marked his official entry into the field of refined oil business. Afterwards, he continued to strive for progress and successfully upgraded his gas station to a gas station in June 2006, expanding his business scope to include gasoline and diesel. From then on, he formed an inseparable bond with the oil industry.

在加油站经营管理方面,肖显盛亲力亲为,面面俱到。从清晨到夜晚,在加油站的各个角落,都能看到他忙碌的身影。他对待工作一丝不苟、态度严谨,为确保油品质量达标,常常在凌晨便起身等待运油车的到来。量空高测密度、对号油品、连接管线、仔细观察石油颜色、闻气味、进行手感测试以及安全值守等,这些都是他在油品接收环节中不可或缺的操作步骤。

In terms of gas station operation and management, Xiao Xiansheng is hands-on and comprehensive. From morning till night, his busy figure can be seen in every corner of the gas station. He is meticulous in his work and has a rigorous attitude. In order to ensure that the oil quality meets the standards, he often gets up in the early morning and waits for the arrival of the fuel truck. Measuring air height and density, matching oil products, connecting pipelines, carefully observing the color of the oil, smelling odors, conducting tactile tests, and safety monitoring are all indispensable operational steps in the oil receiving process.

为提升加油站的竞争力和规范化水平,肖显盛对加油站进行了多次大规模的标准化改造。2012 年、2017 年以及 2022 年,按照上级要求,加油站先后完成了安全隐患排查治理、油气回收系统建设、双层罐改造等重要项目。通过这些改造,加油站的加油设备、罩棚及服务设施得以逐步改进和完善,面貌焕然一新,站内环境也变得更加优美。此外,他还积极引进人工智能收款设备和技术,优化结算程序,大大提高了顾客加油的速度和结算的便捷性。同时,他十分注重员工的培养,经常组织员工开展技能和素质培训,并多次安排员工外出参观学习,着力培养员工的主人翁精神,以提升服务质量和水平,让顾客能够高兴而来,满意而归。随着这些举措的有效实施,加油站的车辆进站率和顾客回头率逐渐增加。

In order to enhance the competitiveness and standardization level of gas stations, Xiao Xiansheng has carried out multiple large-scale standardization renovations of gas stations. In 2012, 2017, and 2022, in accordance with the requirements of higher authorities, gas stations have successively completed important projects such as safety hazard investigation and treatment, oil and gas recovery system construction, and double-layer tank renovation. Through these renovations, the refueling equipment, shelters, and service facilities of the gas station have been gradually improved and perfected, with a refreshed appearance and a more beautiful station environment. In addition, he actively introduced artificial intelligence payment devices and technologies, optimized settlement procedures, greatly improving the speed of customer refueling and the convenience of settlement. At the same time, he attaches great importance to the cultivation of employees, often organizing skill and quality training for employees, and arranging multiple visits and learning opportunities for employees to cultivate their sense of ownership, in order to improve service quality and level, so that customers can come happily and return satisfied. With the effective implementation of these measures, the vehicle entry rate and customer return rate at gas stations have gradually increased.

多年来,这些点滴善举得到了社会的广泛认可与好评,诸多荣誉也纷至沓来。2023 年,肖显盛董事长被青龙桥社区表彰为《爱心企业家》,被野三关人民政府推荐评选为《最美野三人》,被巴东县精神文明指导委员会推荐评选为《最美巴东人》。这些荣誉不仅是对他个人的肯定,更是对红鹰加油站全体员工努力的认可。

在事业发展过程中,肖显盛董事长积极参与行业交流。近年来,他多次受邀在北京参加《全国民营经济发展和论坛会议》,在会议现场,他认真聆听领导、专家教授传达中央关于发展民营经济的号令和精神,这使他的精神境界和思想认知得到了进一步提升,为红鹰加油站的持续发展注入了新的活力。

In 2023, Chairman Xiao Xiansheng was commended by Qinglongqiao Community as a “caring entrepreneur”, recommended by the Yesanguan People’s Government as the “most beautiful Yesanren”, and recommended by the Badong County Spiritual Civilization Guidance Committee as the “most beautiful Badong person”. These honors are not only a personal recognition of him, but also a recognition of the hard work of all employees at the Red Eagle gas station.

During the process of career development, Chairman Xiao Xiansheng actively participated in industry exchanges. In recent years, he has been invited multiple times to participate in the “National Forum on the Development of Private Economy” in Beijing. At the conference, he attentively listened to leaders, experts, and professors convey the central government’s orders and spirit on the development of private economy. This has further enhanced his spiritual realm and ideological cognition, injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of Hongying Gas Station.
